Time for a new car?

A common question we get is "When would you suggest me getting a new car?". There is no one size fits all question when it comes to this.
Some people prefer to have no repairs, and once a vehicle gets more than maintenance done, they choose to upgrade. Others are just happy if the vehicle gets them to and from work.
Some of the things we like to tell people to think about:
*Financial- Do you have the space in your financials to secure another car loan, or enough money to purhcase one outright?
*Age- Alot of times vehicles, just like people, the older they are, the harder it is to move them. If you have a vehicle that is rusting out from top to bottom and its going to cost alot more to repair than it would be to get something new or new to you, then maybe think about it.
Each situation is different. We work on cars where the owner is so particular, one small scratch and they choose the spend the money to have the car painted. We also work on cars that the owner can only afford to do small repairs each month, just enough to keep it on the road. We work on them all, and all the ones in between and we never judge. The most we will do is recommend a repair and explain to you why we are recommending it, as well as approximately how soon the repair will be needed, and approximately how much it will run you.
Stop thinking we will judge your car if there is a huge dent and you cannot, or choose not to have it repaired, you just want or need a smaller repair to get you by for a little bit. We are more than happy to help you figure out what repairs are needed and can fit in your budget. We are not commission based, so we are able to tell you when you can "squeak by". Because, lets face it, everyone in this economy right now is struggling with enough, having someone try and upsell you is not needed.
